I have a tendency to push too hard, run myself into the ground, and just keep running. Eventually my body kicks me in the brain and I end up on bed rest. Not a great place to be. I need to figure out how to take it easier. Any tips? ;)Crystal Collierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03912469552483168148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8203719610395611719.post-3580064633072383232014-07-29T15:13:15.986-04:002014-07-29T15:13:15.986-04:00Rotten to be sick any time, but in summer double ro...Rotten to be sick any time, but in summer double rotten. So maybe that's what you needed, especially since you though you were getting a cold. I tend to get colds when I'm overworking myself.

Feel better! :)Chrys Feyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11955009490266358041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8203719610395611719.post-26031461716371231912014-07-29T12:45:59.264-04:002014-07-29T12:45:59.264-04:00I echo your worries. One thing I've started doing is jotting phrases from the scene here and there, and sometimes that leads to a full on writing session. I try to do it in a noncommittal sort of way by writing it by hand in my journal. When I was what I believed to be in my "worst slump" I suddenly flushed out 8K words! P.S. Feel better soon!
