Most of the time, it's because I wasn't paying close enough attention to them to realize that this little detail over here actually results in this big thing over here and that was why you told me to put it in the story to begin with! Haha. I think I do blame myself more than my muse. It's like that episode of Charmed with muses...the person needs to care and want to create. The muse can't change free will. If you're in the right frame of mind, the muse can inspire you. :)Chrys Feyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11955009490266358041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8203719610395611719.post-22141978043775981132016-05-02T09:59:14.700-04:002016-05-02T09:59:14.700-04:00Jordan, you stick around because one day you'l...Jordan, you stick around because one day you'll get a book with your handsome mug on it and you'll have adoring fans around the world. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8203719610395611719.post-81670559692792403182016-05-02T09:52:59.387-04:002016-05-02T09:52:59.387-04:00That is an interesting perspective. I never thought of it being the other way around.

I felt something like this before. I was writing a story and I felt as if the character was speaking to me one day. He asked me to change his name and his girlfriend's name. He said he didn't like it. And he didn't like what I was doing to him.

I think we have to exercise some sort of control. We can't let our characters dictate what they do and don't do. But I think we should listen to what they have to offer.

G. R. And given everything that's happened/happening to them, I'm guessing in their free time, they're clawing the walls looking for a way out. I'd let them write a post for the blog, but it would probably just be a big 'HELP US.'

Thanks for the deep thoughts, Jordan.
