And once I listened to them, the story flowed more smoothly. I love it because it can be incredibly exciting, but hate it because it messes with my carefully thought-out plans.<br /><br />There's a character in the book I'm writing now that did that. He wasn't supposed to be around for more than a few scenes in a few chapters. Now he's getting a supporting role in the third book, and quite possibly his own spin-off series later on down the road.<br /><br />My characters never take my threats seriously, either.M.J.
