Sitting this one out

Today I would typically be posting for IWSG, but I'm not really feeling up to it right now. Last week, we had to put down my cat Gizmo. He's been my baby for 17 years and it's been really hard getting used to life without him.

    So very sorry about the loss of your cat, Sarah. We had to put my boyfriend's dog down a few months ago, and it was hard. Take care of yourself.

    I hear your pain. I've lost enough cats over the years to know how bad it feels. My favorite cat is over 14 years old now and I worry about her every day. May your pain subside with time.

    So sorry for your loss. I lost my dog of 17 years a couple of years back, and now my 14 yo is starting to show some of the same symptoms. It sucks when you lose part of the family. You have my condolences.

    I had to put my dog down last summer and it still makes me sad. It's awful. My heart goes out to you.
