This is my first time taking part in the Fast Five Friday blog hop, created by the gals over at Cover Girls! This week they've asked us to share our 5 TV Character Crushes. I was super excited to do this, until I realized that I really don't have 5 crushes. I had maybe 2, and even that felt like a stretch. Ok, so I'm weird, right? I don't know if it's possible to be partially asexual, but if it is, I am. I just don't look at a guy and think, hey, he's hot. My brain doesn't work that way.But anyway, I'll cut to the chase before I ramble off anymore. So I decided to use the term "crush" very loosely, to also include characters who I absolutely adore and if they're not on screen I want to throw a hissy fit. So yeah, a few gay guys snuck in...what do you want from me??
1. Dr. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds
2. Jim Harper from The Newsroom
3. Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor Who & Torchwood
4. Connor Walsh from How to Get Away with Murder
5. Patrick from Looking
I actually don't know any of those guys. :) Then again, I haven't seen those shows either.

I don't look at faces either. Personalities make it for me.
Yes to personality! I wasn't even attracted to my fiance when we first met but then I got to know him and started to like him.
DeleteJim Harper is a great character. A worthy addition! I haven't watched Criminal Minds since its early seasons, but I always liked Dr. Reid. And I'm new to Doctor Who/Torchwood, but I'm fully prepared to adore Captain Jack Harkness.
ReplyDeleteMy five guys would include Neal Caffrey and Oliver Queen. I'm with everyone on personality over looks, but have to admit that a nice set of abs gets me almost every time...
I just love Jack. He'll flirt with anything that moves.
DeleteI don't understand Criminal Minds fans. lol But yes, he is kind of cute. ;) I know "Patrick" from Glee. He is a cutie, too!
ReplyDeleteI will fully admit that I have an unhealthy obsession with Jonathan Groff. His character on Glee was kind of a jerk so it made me sad. But he was super nice when I met him in person!

Dr Spencer Reid FTW! I love him. I can't say he's my favorite character. I want to but I love Morgan and Garcia too, and Hotch, Rossi and Jennifer. See it's a tie because I love them all so much. ;)

Reid is probably the only person on this list who I have an actual, normal crush on. Everyone on that show is pretty awesome :)

DeleteDon't know anything about any of these guys since I haven't seen any of these shows. I can't think of any females in current shows who I would consider crushes--I don't pay any attention to names of actors and actresses and have a difficult time with facial recognition a lot of times.

It can be hard to just say crush, but I guess if you can add in personality it helps. I only know one character on here and think he is awesome. Looking at you Captain Jack.
